Operating safely and reliably is what enables our organization to be a high-performing, world-class, responsible supplier of calcium products. This includes every stage of producing and delivering our products — from cradle to gate, our most important priority is to protect the safety of our employees, our communities, and the people who use our products.
Maintaining a Proactive Safety Culture
We maintain consistent performance for safety by driving a proactive, activity-based safety culture. This is not built “from the top down.” Everyone in the organization, regardless of their role or seniority, contributes to building a safe and healthy working environment through continuous improvement and engagement. As technology evolves, we remain vigilant and adapt the latest safety techniques and best practices. Working safely includes adhering to all Company Safety Standards.

Dedicated Mine Rescue Teams, which participate in the Missouri Regional Mine Rescue Contest, an underground, 2-day field event
